Refund policy
Last updated: 2026-05-27. This page is written in plain language. If you ever pay us and want your money back, here is exactly what happens.
Today: nothing to refund
Caspian Tools is free during early access. We have not charged anyone, so there is nothing to refund. The policy below describes what will apply once a paid tier exists, and is published in advance so you can read it before you decide to pay.
We will announce any paid tier on the changelog and via in-app notification. Enrolment in a paid plan is always opt-in — see the terms of use for the full pricing clause.
When you can get a refund
Once paid tiers exist, the following will apply:
- 14-day money-back, no questions asked. You can request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge, and within 14 days of each subsequent renewal.
- Applies to monthly and annual subscriptions equally — annual plans are not exempt from the 14-day window.
- One-time add-ons (e.g. extra storage or seat packs) are refundable within 14 days if the add-on has not been consumed.
- You do not need to give a reason. We may ask for one to improve the product, but you can decline and the refund still goes through.
What is not refundable
- Charges older than 14 days at the time you request the refund.
- Charges already disputed via chargeback with your card issuer — once a chargeback is open we wait for that process to resolve and do not double-refund.
- Subscriptions on accounts terminated for breach of the acceptable use clause.
- Storage or seat add-ons that have already been consumed (e.g. files stored against an add-on quota that you then ask us to remove).
How to cancel
Self-serve cancellation will be available from Settings → Billing inside the app once paid tiers launch. Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not automatically issue a refund for the current period — you keep access until the period you already paid for ends.
If you want a refund in addition to cancelling, email privacy@caspiantools.com from the address on your account. Include your workspace slug and the approximate charge date so we can find the payment quickly.
How long it takes
We will initiate the refund within 5 business days of a valid request. After we issue it, the time for the money to land back with you depends on your card issuer or payment provider — typically 5 to 10 business days for cards. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your country of residence. Where local law gives you a longer refund window or stronger remedy than the policy above, local law wins.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Substantive changes are announced on the changelog. The Last updated date at the top reflects the most recent change.
